Baby Shower Parties
The news about being pregnant is the best news of all. Well, of course only second to hearing the grand proposal. The feeling of being pregnant acts like icing on the cake of your married life.
For first time expecting mothers, it is a difficult and Herculean task to search and look for all the right stuff and equipment the baby will need. One of the ways to keep things on schedule is to make a list of all the necessary items the new born will need, and then getting them one by one, well before the new baby’s arrival.
But there is another easy way to almost have it all, without getting too much headache over it. Giving a baby shower party, is a perfect solution for this. The only headache mom-to-be would have is the menu she would have to prepare on that day and that is easier for her. For really getting things more exiting she can sent out unique baby shower invitations to the invitees.
By planning for a baby shower you are shifting the burden of selecting baby stuff to the guests. But now another question arises. How will the baby shower go about? This concern can be solved, if we choose a theme based baby shower, which will help to guide the flow of the party. There are several ways of choosing and deciding on a unique baby shower theme. How about planning the theme on colors? If you know the gender of the baby then how about planning a theme based on the colors, that is Blue or Pink, a color universally represent for a baby boy or a baby girl. Or another idea can be to base your theme on a character, such as the Looney Tunes, Power Puff Girls or Dexter’s Laboratory.
Write a note of the gifts you received. For those items still missing from your list, make the necessary arrangements to have it readily available once the baby arrives.
Things to remember for a baby shower party:
Hold it four to six weeks before the due date, establish a theme, write down the guest list, set the tone and size of the baby shower, plan the games, plan the menu, create baby shower party favors, and last but not the least, set the time and location, if it will not be held in your residence.
Remember, baby showers are a fun way to welcome the baby that would be coming soon enough.
